ADEDAYO ADESUGBA FIH (UK), FNHCI, FITPN, FTHC

Adedayo is an experienced Hotelier and Restaurateur who has been in the industry for 40 years. After his secondary school education at the C.M.S. Grammar School in Lagos, he attended Kwara State College of Technology, Ilorin where he graduated with an H.N.D. in Catering and Hotel Management in 1982.

In 1985, he was employed by the Starwood Corporation as one of the pioneer staff of their new Sheraton Hotel in Lagos. He proceeded to the United States of America to further his training. He attended New York Restaurant School, NY. He also attended Orange/Ulster Board of Education School of Business Management, where he obtained a diploma in Business Management. He obtained an MBA from the Delta International University, Louisiana, USA, in 2009.

BDRC Continental, a global organisation based in the UK, contracted him in 2014 to audit hotels as one of their global Hotel Inspectors. He has conducted training programs for many hospitality establishments, including Le Meridien Eko Hotel & Suites and the Golden Tulip Al Jazira Resort, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He has also been involved in several pre-opening and management of various hotels in Nigeria.

He is a Fellow of the following Institutes, Institute of Hospitality, UK, Nigerian Hotel & Catering Institute, (NHCI) and the Institute of Tourism Professionals of Nigeria and the Association of Tourism & Hospitality Consultants in Nigeria.

Adedayo served as Chairman of the Institute of Hospitality, UK, Nigeria International Branch and is presently the the CEO of Nexus318 Hospitality Management & Investment Co. Ltd. He was the Nigerian Managing Partner of Africa Tourism Partners, a global Tourism organisation based in Johannesburg, South Africa. He also sits on the Academic Board of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce & Industry Business Entrepreneurship Skills Training Centre (BEST Centre).

In 2012, he initiated the formation of the first Tourism and Hospitality Consultants Association in Nigeria, (ATHCON) and was supported by other professional colleagues. He is presently the Vice-President of the Association.

He is a member of the national mirror committee on the development of grading and hotel standards for the ECOWAS region. In 2015, he was nominated by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) to work with the International Standards Organisation, (ISO) to work on global hospitality standards, ISO/TC 228, Tourism and Related Services. He has since been a part of the Committee since then.

Adedayo has a strong flair for developing IT solutions for the hospitality industry and was involved in the development of BizEdge Systems; the most widely used indigenous Property Management Systems in Nigeria.

Gbenga Akintade is the Media Communications Director at Novelty Media and Comminutions, he is a Design Consultant, Concept Developer, Content Creator, Graphic Designer and Website Developer. Gbenga has been providing Branding and Marketing Solutions for various industries for well over 15 years. He has worked, both physically and remotely, on several Branding and website projects for companies and individuals in several countries including Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Canada, United States etc . He is also a Photographer and Videographer.
